The Beta version of Yacht Manager Lite released
This software package was created due to the absence of suitable software in the marketplace. The aim of the software is to allow a yacht or motor boat owner to quickly establish an inventory of equipment on board a vessel using a detailed list of standard equipment likely to appear on a vessel.
The software is designed to run without an Internet connection, however, through a connection to the Internet the latest list of items and suggested maintenance routines are automatically downloaded.
It also keeps standard details on the specification of your vessel for reference, much of this can be downloaded free of charge from standard design data held on the Yacht Manager Software web site.
When the software is first run you will be presented with a list of the most likely equipment your vessel will carry. You select which items you have and if they need checking on a regular basis. Notes can be held against each item including details such as model numbers, serial number spares details etc. Also documents can be stored alongside each inventory item, such as correspondence or documentation
Another key feature is that you can link through the Internet to various supplier web sites so that spares or replacements can be easily sourced. Files and documents can be saved against each item
Work check lists can be produced to list work due to carried out as well as standard inventory lists.
